CTRF Leadership Meetings

VCU CTRF Working Group Meeting

These meetings are held every first non-holiday Monday of each month.  This meeting is held to discuss the progress of the CTRF Grant Funded Cancer Genomics Project.  Status of finances, focus group activities, and upcoming issues are some subjects discussed in the meetings.  All leadership participants are welcomed and encouraged to participate.

Meetings are held in Sanger Hall in Room 1-050 in the Dean's Conference Room via audiovisual teleconferencing with INOVA Health Systems and GMU participants.  The meeting is held at 9:30am until 11:00am.

The VCU CTRF Working Group Meeting is held every Tuesday morning at 9:00am in MDX.  This meeting allows for discussion of topics pertaining to database design, tissue acquisition, QA/QC issues, etc.  

There is also a VCU CTRF Working Group Meeting which takes place every Thursday from 10-11am and is located in the Massey Cancer Center.  This meeting is held to discuss informatics and database solutions and issues pertaining to the CTRF Cancer Genomics project.
